Had tiny Pomeranian pup, COCO 💕 in today for a puppy introduction. Very nervous at first, but soon warmed to me and took the whole session in her stride, even managing a light trim to finish. Her Mum is doing all the right things…brushing her and booking regular grooming appointments to keep familiarity going. Such a cute pup! 🐶💖

Cuties BETTY 💖 and BUTTONS 💙 came in today. Buttons was a little out of schedule, hence the before pic. Both are rescues and tricky to groom for different reasons. However, with time, patience, calm surroundings and lots of reassurance both are getting better with every visit 🥰

When your daughter takes the new puppy out and he comes home looking like this 😂 decided it was time for his first proper bath. Even dog groomers have to desensitise their dogs to being bathed or groomed and I’ll be honest, he wasn’t that keen! Lots of treats and encouragement and I will try again in another couple of weeks. Next time he may tolerate more of the hairdryer as he only had short exposure today, as quite nervous. Just goes to show how different they all are. Main thing is he’s now clean but a little wet, happy and wrapped up in his bed after an eventful day. Could he be any more spoilt?! 😂🥰😍❤️🐾🛁 ✂️✂️

KYLO completed the puppy package at Groomer Has It today. He’s a real mixture coat wise and although Mum was keen to clip, I’ve persuaded her to keep some of the wire for now until his coat is fully established. Instead, I’ve stripped some of the loose coat and finished with a decent tidy up of his face, legs, hygiene area and any obviously straggles! He’s now looking super handsome and ready for Spring 🌸🌻🌼🐕🐾

💜HARLEY💜 came back to visit from her new home in Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 So lovely to see her and her owners and to hear about their new life. Great to know I’ll be seeing more of her 🥰

After and before of FINN, a cockerpoo with more spaniel looks. He does however, need a full groom due to changes in his coat over the last few months. A good groom is all about adapting to changes in the coat. Finn started off his grooming journey with an outline trim but soon needed clipper work and now has the full works - a full stripping of excess fluff, bath, dry, clipping and scissor trim where needed 🪮✂️🛁🫧🧼💨🐕🐾
