Looking for a part-time groom 20 mins drive from Hartpury. Supporting others to look after show ponies, mares and foals and c**t/ stallion. Lots of riding potential, general yard duties, must be competent and confident around the place, helpful , polite and able to use your initiative. Additional hours during the show season. Chance to attend shows, clinics etc. Immediate start available with long term employment available. Above min wage for right person. PM for more info.

Little Rosie has recently joined me as schooling client. She is green and the school struggling with her canter transitions. Very pleased with her willingness to learn making our sessions very productive. In such a small amount of time she is showing lots of improvements in her transitions, balance and self carriage.

Exercising/hacking/schooling services

I currently have some availability to take on some new clients, whether you need some help with on the ground exercising or need someone to school/hack your horse while you are away or regularly to fill the gaps in your busy schedule. I have experience with horses/poines of all shapes and sizes including; event horses, hunt horses, dressage horses, show jumpers, showing horses, green/young horses, and sharp horses. I can provide references, please feel free to get in touch to discuss what you and your horse need.

I have decided to take on the hack100 challenge organised by the Brooke Action for Working Horses and Donkeys charity. As I love to hack out and believe it to be an essential part of a horse’s exercise routine. So why not record what myself and the horses I ride love for a good cause.
