🖤 They may never want our touch — but they still deserve our care.

These two beautiful bonded ferals are permanent residents in our sanctuary.
They’ve lived a life on the outside, relying only on each other. Now, they have safety, food, shelter… and space to just be.

Not every cat wants a lap.
Not every cat can be tamed.
But every cat deserves love — on their terms.

Thank you to everyone who supports our work with ferals. Your kindness gives cats like these a place to belong, exactly as they are.

This is Wednesday — named appropriately, because she’s 10% cat, 90% dark energy. She rules the rescue with an iron paw and a withering glare. Affection? Only if it’s dramatically inconvenient. Think Addams Family vibes… but fluffier 🖤🐾🕷️

🌟 Our beautiful kitty has bagged herself a new home! 🏡💛 She’ll be off to start her forever next week, and we couldn’t be happier for her.

This lovely little fluff ball has been an absolute gem during her time with us at Little Nest – full of character, cuddles, and charm. We’ve truly loved caring for her, and she really does deserve the very best.

🐾 Important note: Due to our cat pens being outdoors, we’re sadly unable to take in any more domestic cats until next spring. It just wouldn’t be fair to ask them to live outside in the colder months. Thank you all for your ongoing support and understanding. 💛

🐾✨ Big day for some of our alpacas yesterday! ✨🐾

We said a fond farewell to three of our lovely residents as they set off to their new forever homes 💛

🦙 Hayden and Brian have joined a young male herd where they’ll have plenty of space to play and grow with new friends.
🦙 Bunny has settled in beautifully with a peaceful all-female herd — she’s already making herself right at home!

As always, it’s a bittersweet moment. We’ll miss their quirky personalities here at Little Nest Rescue, but we’re so happy they’ve found places where they’ll continue to thrive. 💚

Meet Hassle, one of our lovely alpacas enjoying some hay in the barn. Alpacas are grazing animals with a diet mainly made up of grass and hay, which helps keep their digestive system healthy. Despite her name, Hassle is actually one of the more gentle characters in the herd — though she does like to make a bit of a mess at mealtimes!

We are desperately looking for volunteers with equine experience before winter sets in.
We have a large herd of big horses and need confident, capable hands to help with:
• Feeding
• Handling
• Changing rugs
• Turning in and out
• Mucking out
• Filling hay nets

Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can commit to a set day each week (around 3 hours).

Please note there is no option to ride.
