Can I be honest?
I don't know how I feel about social media anymore. There was a time when I felt pressure to post a certain number of times a week, at certain times of day to increase visibility, for the quality of my posts to be better, to make posts that resulted in followers etc - and I hated it. Building a business is tough and so it often feels like your social media game has to be strong, but my relationship with social media really suffered for it.
I also dislike how normal it has become for posts to take on a nasty tone , have a "hot take" , or something to try and get people's attention by way of shock value. It just totally turns me off when I see posts that have that undertone to them.
So that's why I haven't really been posting much, I had just lost all motivation to do so.
When I started this account it was just about my dogs, well just Cooper actually! Before the other two hooligans came along 😂 I made so many friends through it and absolutely loved chatting to people about their dogs and their adventures. So I'm going back to that.
I'll still post about classes, training and shows but first and foremost this account is for me and my dogs. That's why the majority of you followed this account and it's what I loved doing so that's what will be happening.
