Last wee spin in the carriage for Brynm before he heads to Seacliff at the weekend to participate in Section A of the Marathon. I can’t think of anywhere more beautiful for us to go on our first proper carriage driving adventure ❤️

RAGWORT contains toxins called Pyrrolizidine alkaloids which are an accumulative poison that damages the liver.

The clinical signs are subtle at first but as the toxins accumulate they cause damage to the liver, eventually causing liver failure and death.

Having enjoyed a lovely ride with Zeta, I spent an hour checking her and Violet’s track and digging out lots of little rosettes before they grow and flower. Best to get them early before they get a chance to seed. Time well spent 🥰

It was a busy weekend but we managed to squeeze in a driving lesson with the young person who is on our current five week block 🤩

We ventured out on the road and it was definitely an experience! We met lots of tractors 🚜 with silage trailers - I thought they’d finished in the morning as I’d not seen them go past …. They’d just swapped fields they were carting from and farms they were carting too 🙈

All the drivers were lovely despite being in a hurry and we did try keep out their way by looping through a friend’s yard and managed to dodge them in the most 👍🙏

Loti isn’t even as big as their front wheel 🛞

We are so lucky to have such lovely friends who come help drive or ride at home but also give up their time to come support us at events too 🥰

As we headed in to do our test yesterday it was one of the things that popped into my head - how lucky I was to have people with me who just wanted us to be us and do the best we could 🥰 No pressure and no expectations just happy to be there to cheer us on 😃 Thank you! 🙏

Making the most of it with the littles in the sunshine 😇 👑 ☀️

We’ve had quite a bit of development going on in our little village over the last couple of years. At first I wasn’t particularly happy about it BUT we’ve some lovely new neighbours and it’s definitely been an opportunity to get all the horses and ponies used to a variety of sights and sounds!
