There’s something I want to speak openly about, because I know it can sometimes be misunderstood 💛
When you see us offering one of our retired queens for adoption, please know this is never a decision made lightly or without love.
In the breeding world, this is a normal and responsible part of what we do.
Our queens are first and foremost our pets, and they are deeply loved while they are with us. But as breeders, we also have to think long-term, about space, balance within our home and the wellbeing of every cat in our care.
We simply can’t keep every cat we’ve ever bred or owned. If we did, it would eventually impact the quality of life for all of them and that’s something we will never allow.
Retiring a queen and finding her the right forever home means she gets the chance to have something really special, more one-to-one attention, a quieter environment, and a life where she can truly be someone’s whole world.
This is about doing what’s best for her, not what’s easiest for us.
We take a lot of care in choosing the right homes and these girls will always be a part of us.
Letting them go is never easy but it is done with love, intention, and their happiness at the centre of it all.

Thank you for understanding and supporting what we do ✨🐈⬛🐾
Jersey is a friendly, affectionate and social girl who adores a lap to make biscuits on, the occasional tummy rub and loves to chat!
