We are very sad to say that we lost our beautiful girl Zooter last night. When Zooter came to us (after being saved by some very kind people who had found her wandering and starving) almost 5 years ago now, she was about 2 weeks old and she had a big bruise on her head. We don’t know how she got this bruise but it soon became clear that it was quite a significant head injury as within a short space of time she started to have random seizures. For the last 5 years our vets have helped us to managed this condition but unfortunately, it became progressively worse over time. Yesterday she went downhill rapidly and it was very clear that her condition was no longer manageable and our vet thought it was time to let her go. It was a difficult decision to make as we all loved her very much but we knew it was ultimately the right thing for her. She slipped away very peacefully with the help of our vet who, as always, did an amazing job looking after her. RIP Zooter. We’re going to miss you. 😢 🐖❤️
