Fletchers Farm Livery yard is looking for a new staff member to join the team. Full or part time available.
The ideal applicant must be reliable, able to work at a fast pace, follow a work plan, pay attention to detail and think with their own initiative both alone and as part of the team.
The role includes general yard duties and lots of leading a variety of horses. No ridden work. Days/hours can be discussed but will include 4 weekend days per month.
Applicant must have some equine experience and be confident around horses but training in handling horses and yard work is provided.
A Driving licence is necessary to drive the yard vehicle for field work.
This is a huge yard that offers a lot of experience with all types and sizes of horses.

Maintenance / Handy man Job

We are a family run business providing livery services and a Riding School.

We are a busy equestrian centre with 85 stables on site and require a handyperson/general worker to do the day-to-day maintenance on the site and deliver the hay as required. Days to be discussed.

A key part of the job will be using the JCB telescopic loader to deliver hay to the feed stores. If the successful candidate was interested there is the possibility of extra work during haymaking.

The work includes repairing fences, general DIY skills, mowing and strimming. There will be painting and other jobs in quieter periods.

Training will be given but previous experience with the telescopic loader is required.

The essential attributes are for a very practical individual that can work well on their own, manage their time and that has a can do attitude.

Job Type: Part-time 20-25 hours a week

Fletchers Farm Livery yard is looking for a groom.

We are a large livery yard looking for a full or part time groom to join our team. Must be reliable, work at a fast pace, alone and as part of a team. The roles include general yard jobs, handling a variety of horses with no ridden work.

Days can be discussed but will be between 8am - 5pm and include some weekend hours.

Applicant must have some equine experience, but training provided. Driving licence necessary.

Trial period required. Yard located in Fordham / Essex Suffolk boarder.
