Panic not, we are holding lots of saddle fitting days here at Thistlebrook Stables.

Our hacking is super too so why not pop for a little hack afterwards too… to check how your newly fitted saddle feels whilst yee-haa-ing across the fields?

Our next date is Tuesday 30th September - with a couple of slots in the afternoon/evening available.

Looking to get your horse or pony backed, schooled, or given some lovely confidence-building hacking?

Our very own Meghan has built a fantastic reputation for being gentle, sympathetic, and effective with youngsters. She’s light enough to ride the smallest ponies, patient enough to take things at each horse’s pace, and skilled enough to bring them on beautifully in the arena too.

With a background in showing, Meghan is now doing very well in the dressage boards on her self produced spotty horse, Zeus.

With our amazing off-road hacking and a super chilled yard environment, she makes sure every horse is not just educated, but genuinely happy and confident under saddle.

Her diary is filling up (very) fast for the year – so if you’d like your horse or pony to have the magical Meghan touch, make sure you get in touch and book your space now! 🗓️

We get a lot of messages asking if we offer livery here at Thistlebrook Stables.
And I’m afraid the answer is always the same…
We only offer schooling, backing or hacking livery. And Meghan’s diary is filling up fast.

No ‘normal’ liveries. Cos… no offence… we like the peace. It’s the most perfectly chilled place to bring your horse or pony to start their education and we want to keep it that way.

We also offer:
Pamper days - hot showers, trimming and clipping.
Saddle fitting days with Poppy Webber - Qualified Saddle Fitter
Massage and schooling/lessons with Meghan.

PM us if you are interested in any of the above… just not if you’re looking for ‘normal’ livery 🤣

A happy pony at each end of the rainbow here at Thistlebrook. The sunsets are gorgeous, but the evenings are closing in.
Soon we will be thinking about winter but for now we are making the most of all the grass and the last remaining warm days.
