Today I have done the part of the job that always breaks me , the final walk before the final goodbye . As heartbreaking as it is it’s also an honor when you get the chance to spend a bit of time with a dog you have loved and walked for many years before they go to rainbow bridge
Jessica you were one of a kind ! Bright beautiful and very very vocal lol !
You trained me well as to what you liked ( meaty treats ) and what you didn’t like ( biscuit bones ) .
We have had so many amazing walks over the years from the start with your dad the handsome Jasper who had selective hearing so I would always tell you to go get dad if he went to far ahead and off you would run barking at the top of your lungs to round him up 🤣.
After he passed away and it was just you and I , you usually trotting along barking at me for just one more treat and as you got older those walks HAD to include a trip to the chippy for your sausage, if the chippy was closed you would be sure to let me know that I owed you a sausage x
Thank you to your mummy Karen for trusting me to be a part of your life I promise Jessica I will always be there for her xx
So for the final time I will say go get dad at the rainbow bridge xx sleep tight beautiful girl xx
