🌾 Grass Seed Season Is Here! 🌾

A reminder to all dog owners that grass seed season is now in full swing and can cause serious problems for our doggies.

Please make sure you regularly check your dog’s:
🐾 Paws (especially between the toes)
👂 Ears
👁️ Eyes
🐕 Coat, armpits and groin area

Signs to watch for:
⚠️ Excessive licking of paws
⚠️ Head shaking or scratching at ears
⚠️ Red or weepy eyes
⚠️ Swelling or limping
⚠️ Sudden sneezing

Grass seeds can work their way into the skin and cause painful infections, so it’s best to catch them as early as possible.

I’ll be keeping an extra eye out during our walks, to minimise the risk, but please always give your dog a check-over 🐾
