Big congratulations to our lovely Evie! 🐾💛

Evie has officially passed her Level 3 Animal Care course at college, and we’re so proud of her 👏
She’s worked so hard alongside being part of the Mary Puppins team, and it’s been lovely watching her confidence, knowledge and passion for animals grow.

We’re very lucky to have her ~ and now she’s even more qualified to talk about all things paws, claws, fur and feathers 😂

One shop, one team, lots of stock, same Puppins energy !🐾

We’re settling back into Emsworth now that everything from Rowlands has come back under one roof.

The shelves are fuller, the team is back together, and we’re slowly getting everything sorted, moved around and squeezed into its new home.
So if things look a little different in the shop... that’s why! We’re making space, finding better homes for products, and getting Emsworth ready for the next chapter.

Last few days to grab your Emsworth Show tickets 🎟️🐾

The Emsworth Show is this Monday, so there isn’t long left to pick up your tickets in store!
We still have tickets available at Mary Puppins Pet Pantry in Emsworth ~ pop in before Monday if you’d like to get yours sorted ahead of time.

We’ll be there for the dog show, but the Emsworth shop will still be open as usual too, so you can still pop in for all your usual bits.

Holly is back in Emsworth… and so is the stock 😂🐾

Now that Rowlands Castle has closed, the remaining stock has made its way back to our Emsworth shop — so if things are looking a little fuller, busier, or slightly like we’re playing pet shop Tetris… that’s why!
We’ve still got bits to unpack, sort, squeeze onto shelves and find homes for, but it does mean plenty of familiar favourites are back under one roof.

National Dog Day is basically every day at Mary Puppins 🐾

We’re lucky enough to know so many of your dogs by name ~ and in many cases, by their favourite chew, treat, toy or “absolutely must sniff this shelf” routine.

They’re the reason the shop feels like more than just a shop.

So today is for all the Emsworth dogs, the regulars, the treat testers, the shy ones, the chaotic ones, the puppies we’ve watched grow up, and every waggy tail that comes through the door!

Happy Monday everyone 🐾

Mary Puppins Pet Pantry has been entered into The Dog Friendly Awards again, which celebrates dog-friendly businesses and places across the UK.

We’ve been lucky enough to place in previous years — 2nd one year and 3rd another — and it honestly meant the world to us, because being genuinely dog friendly is such a huge part of what we do.

Dogs aren’t just allowed in the shop… they’re welcomed, fussed, photographed, treat-tested and often recognised before their humans are 🤣

From nervous puppies and muddy walkers to golden oldies, rescue dogs, snack thieves and regulars who know exactly where the pick & mix is — we love being a little dog-friendly stop in the community.

So, if you’ve visited us and think we deserve a bit of support again this year, we’d be really grateful 💚

Mary Puppins Pet Pantry turns 6! 🐾💚

Six whole years of waggy tails, muddy paws, treat testers, raw food runs, pick & mix decisions, dog photos, community support and customers who have become friends.

When we first opened the doors, I don’t think we could ever have imagined quite what Mary Puppins would become.

It has never just been “a pet shop” to us. It is the dogs who drag their humans through the door, the puppies we watch grow up, the golden oldies we get far too attached to, the customers who trust us for advice, and the local support that keeps us going through all the chaos of running a small business.

The last six years have had their fair share of challenges, and we won’t pretend small business life is always easy, but we are still here because of you.

Every purchase, every recommendation, every review, every photo for the dog board, every “we came in because someone told us about you” — it all matters more than you probably realise.

So from all of us at Mary Puppins Pet Pantry, thank you for six years of support, loyalty, laughter, tears and dogs with absolutely no personal space 🤣

Here’s to another year of doing what we love.
