Hello again everyone!

I didn’t expect to be posting anymore, after the sad news of closing our doors, but I have some exciting news to share with you!

In collaboration with the owners of Maison de Moggy (the cat cafe), we are launching a new home veterinary service called Maison Vets!

We are working hard to get up and running, and I will be posting details as they become available.

I know a lot of us had a rough time in 2025, so I really hope this is a sign that 2026 will hold exciting opportunities for us all!

The time has finally come to say goodbye. We are officially and permanently closed.

I couldn’t have asked for more amazing, compassionate, wonderful clients. I’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by your messages of support, and moved to tears by your stories of how much our care has meant to you. I started this because I wanted to make a difference, so regardless of what the future holds, I consider Kelly Vets to be a great success and one of my proudest achievements. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. 🧡 I hope everyone has a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year! Here’s to 2026! 🥂🥳

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the imminent closing of Kelly Vets on 31 December 2025. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, driven by the need to safeguard myself against proposed changes to immigration laws in the UK.

This is not a decision I ever wanted to make, and certainly not one I could have predicted. It has been the honour of my life to be welcomed into your homes and lives. I’m so grateful to each of you for being part of this journey and entrusting me with your pet’s care. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. 🧡

🐾 We’re attending the VetSure Conference!

We will be closed today and tomorrow (15–16 October) while we join fellow independent vets at the VetSure Conference — a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect, and bring back even better care for our patients.

We’ll be back open as normal on Friday!

Good morning! We have a special announcement today 📣

** Our books are now closed to new clients 📖 **

A huge thank you for spreading the word about us and helping us grow! Caitie is embarking on another exciting venture alongside Kelly Vets, so to ensure we continue to provide the same outstanding level of care, we are not taking new clients. We will re-evaluate again in the new year, but for now our current clients and patients are our top priority! 👩🏻‍⚕️🐕🐈

(We’ll try to share more details in the coming weeks about what Caitie is up to - needless to say, she’s still on a mission to change the veterinary world! 🚀)

I have been blown away by the love and support from all of our wonderful clients since I opened just 7 short months ago. It is such an honour to be welcomed into your homes, and I have loved getting to know you and your pets. Happy Fri-yay everyone!

According to a recent poll, Kelly Vets clients are the best clients in the whole world! 🌎🤩 (It was a very extensive, professional poll.)

Let me preface first by saying that gifts are *never* expected or required. They’re always a wonderful surprise - and two in one week fills me with both pride and confidence that we’re doing something right! 🧡🐾 Thank you for appreciating us as much as we appreciate you!

(And yes, pink h***h is my one of my guilty pleasures 🍹. If you imagined me at home as a classy lady🍷, I’m sorry to disappoint you! 🤪)

I always asked myself “What would I do if this patient were Rory?” That question helps me balance all of my medical knowledge with all of the emotions that are involved in making decisions for a pets’ health. Sometimes it means I recommend doing everything we possibly can. Sometimes it means I recommend we stop poking and prodding and think about quality of life. And sometimes it means I quit my job and start up my own business so I can give all of my patients the time and attention and care that I wanted for her.

So today, she deserves a very special shout out. My soulmate, my heart dog, my reason for doing what I do. Happy 12th gotcha day, Rory. May we have 12 more. 🧡🐾
