Happy Friday everyone!!
Our Happy Friday story today is of little Mars ❤️
Wee Mars is a 1 year old cocker spaniel, and it is safe to say, he loves a bit of mischief!! 😂
He has a tendency for eating things that he shouldn't, as youngsters do! But he has got himself into bother a couple of times. The first time, Mars was 6 months, and he managed to snaffle a drawing pin off the floor, thinking it was a game! 😰Silly pup. You can see the drawing pin very easily on the x-ray, so the wee lad had a surgery to remove the pin, in case it caused a tear in his tummy 😅 .
However, Mars did not learn that kibble and treats are the only things he should be eating! Recently he had another surgery to remove impacted material, including large bits of sharp stick, string, fabric material, and a couple of stones 🤒
Oh Mars! 🤣
Luckily, Mars has not had any more of these types of adventures! He has healed well after both surgeries, and is back to his crazy self, zooming around, adventuring and being happy as larry at home. And his parents have also healed from the emotional rollercoaster!!
We are so happy that he is doing well, and overjoyed that he is still super happy to come in and see us, tail wagging and ready for all the cuddles and biscuits. He doesn't hold a grudge and we love him for it! 😍
