Happy Friday everyone! 🌞

Our Happy Friday story for today is of Mylo. 🐶

Mylo was in today for his annual vaccinations, covered by his Healthy Pet Club, but earlier in the year he was with us for a more serious problem.💉

Mylo came to us feeling lethargic, and was suffering with some sickness and diarrhoea. His owners even brought with them what was later identified as some corn on the cob husk that was in his vomit. 🤢

He had an Xray and Ultrasound, and to begin with this looked normal, and we were hopeful that he did not have any other obstructions in his stomach. 🩻

However, Mylo continued to vomit the next day, and another Xray showed evidence of a blockage in Mylo's small intestine. ☹️

He was whisked to surgery, and we found the culprit! What looked like a small fruit stone such as a peach or nectarine had caused the blockage. This was removed during the anaesthetic. 🥭

After surgery Mylo was very quick to recover. He healed nicely and is back to his bouncy self. 👏

It was lovely to see him today, happy and healthy ❤️

This beautiful budgie was handed into our Newhaven practice today 🥰
He was found down by the Water of Leith.
A really friendly bird 🐦!

This beauty is Sith! 👑

Sith was in to see us recently for their weigh and worming appointment with Head Nurse Ciara. 😺

They were full of cuddles and play - really sweet to see! 😍

Happy Friday everyone!! 🌞🌞

Our Happy Friday story this week is of cheeky little Bella who was in for a dental procedure recently. 🪥

Her owners noticed that a lump had formed on the roof of her mouth, and they brought her down to get it checked out. 🩺

At the consultation, it was advised that Bella required some dental work, to clean her teeth and also extract some. 🦷

Bella came back and was so brave for her procedure. Staying with us for the day she made lots of friends, and was a wee gem!! 😍

She had quite a few teeth removed, and had her lump taken out too!

We were delighted to report that Bella's lump came back as benign and she has healed perfectly from her dental. 🥳

She is back to her usual bouncy self which is gorgeous to see! 👏

Meet Marcello! 🐶

This handsome chap came to see us for his Healthy Pet Club 6 Monthly Nurse check last week.

Look how cute he is! 😍

Our nurse Amanda did his check up and he got a glowing report, healthy teeth, ears, eyes and coat! Exactly what you want to hear, especially with a youngster! 🩺

Marcello was so friendly and well behaved for his trip, stole our hearts instantly!

This special boy is Atlantis! ❤️

Atlantis came in to see us recently for a dental procedure; a scale and polish with some extractions. 🦷

Atlantis is a little character, and a firm favourite! He is the friendliest, sweetest wee guy and we love him to bits! A total prince 👑.

He was very brave for his procedure and his post operative checks and is doing so well!
