We'd like to give a very special welcome to Willow, who arrived with us this week as our newest rescue. ❤️
This beautiful girl is settling in well and taking everything in her stride as she begins the next chapter of her journey. We're looking forward to getting to know her personality and helping her feel safe, loved, and at home.

We had an amazing day attending the Wildlife at the Castle event at Stafford Castle with our beautiful pony Maisie 🐴💚
A huge thank you to everyone who came over to say hello, give Maisie some fuss, and support Elverra Pony Rescue. We truly appreciate all the kindness and encouragement.💞

Today marks 1 whole year since Helen and her daughter Isla started volunteering with us!🎊😊
"Over the past year we have learnt so much, made lovely new friends, and are so happy to be part of the Elverra family. I’ve loved horses since I was young, so it’s been amazing to share that passion with Isla. She loves riding and it’s been such a good experience for her learning how to care for and look after ponies properly.
We usually volunteer 2–3 times a week and every visit brings something new to learn and enjoy. Seeing the hard work and love that goes into caring for these beautiful animals is truly rewarding."
We are always looking for more volunteers, so if you love animals and would like to help, come and join us! 🐎💕

We’re delighted to share some wonderful news from Elverra Pony Rescue 🐴✨
Earlier this year, Karen Twigg of Willow Star Holistics approached Sheila to ask if she could work with three of our ponies as part of her Animal Reiki Practitioner training. Over two weekends in March, each pony received four Reiki sessions — and the results were amazing.
The ponies appeared noticeably calmer, more relaxed and physically brighter after each session. Three dogs also received Reiki treatments, and their owners were equally pleased with the positive outcomes.
We are thrilled to congratulate Karen on achieving her Animal Reiki Practitioner qualification and becoming a registered member of the UK Reiki Federation. She is also fully insured and now offering taster sessions for animals.
Thank you, Karen, for your kindness, care and dedication to animal wellbeing 💚
