A little update for all my lovely clients ๐
As I approach a year of running my wonderful little business, I want to make sure it continues to work well for both myself and all of you โ while still allowing me to earn a fair and sustainable living.
With that in mind, Iโd like to clarify and slightly update my cancellation policy. I completely understand that unexpected things can happen, changes in work schedules, illness, or a family member offering to help with pet care, and I always do my best to be understanding.
Until now, my policy has been more than 2 days notice for cancellations without incurring a charge. Over the past year, I havenโt always enforced this strictly, but after chatting with other local dog walkers and pet care providers (many of whom take advance payment and donโt refund cancellations within 7 days), Iโve decided to make a small change.
โจ From now on, Iโll be moving to a 5-day cancellation policy.
If a walk or pet care booking is cancelled less than 5 days before itโs due to start, the full payment will still be required.
I hope you can all understand that this business is my sole source of income, and last-minute cancellations make it really difficult to refill those time slots. Giving as much notice as possible really helps me stay organised and continue providing the best care for your pets ๐ถ๐
All clients will soon receive an updated contract reflecting this change โ from 2 days to 5 daysโ notice for cancellations.
Thank you all so much for your continued support and understanding!
