🚨 ADDER BITE EMERGENCY – DOG WALKERS CHECKLIST 🐍🐶

If a dog is bitten by an adder, act FAST:

1️⃣ Stay calm & keep dog still
Movement spreads venom faster

2️⃣ Carry the dog if possible
Especially small/medium dogs

3️⃣ Call the vet immediately
Let them know you’re coming

4️⃣ Get to the vet ASAP
Time = recovery

❌ DO NOT:
• Cut the wound
• Suck out venom
• Use a tourniquet
• Give human meds

---

⚠️ Watch for signs:
• Sudden yelp or pain
• Swelling (face/leg)
• Lethargy or collapse
• Vomiting or drooling

---

🌿 Prevention:
• Stick to clear paths
• Avoid long grass & sunny banks
• Use lead in high-risk areas

---
