update on Rosie🥰
Her training has been going amazingly and she has improved so much since we got her.
Separation anxiety has calmed down sooo much, no more biting the cage or trying to escape, only barks when she needs the toilet or we’ve left the house but calms down pretty quickly
Aggression towards people is improving slowly but she’s learning to be more trusting and even met some people for the first time and has given cuddles and kisses straight away🥰 still a long way to go when it comes to dogs but if she sees them in the street she looks and carries on🥳🥳
Dedication and consistency really goes a long way
Like all dogs she has her moments and pushes her boundaries but we deal with them the right way. Rosie has also shown signs of recourse guarding but we are managing it pretty well, we learned the signs of when she will guard and dealing with it by trading for higher value things but luckily her guarding level is pretty low and doesn’t choose aggression towards us (she holds onto what she has and becomes stiff and shows she’s uncomfortable with us being near what she has) we do everything we can to make her comfortable and to not make this worse as it can become dangerous. I highly advise to get professional help when it comes to recourse guarding as it can become extremely dangerous for you and highly stressful for your dog if you don’t know what your doing
But on a positive note we are so proud of Rosie she is continuing to improve and we love her so much🥰🫶🏻
