Tannasg Arabian stud is a small family run stud in central Scotland. We are located 50mins from Edinburgh and Glasgow and 8 hours from London.

What a weekend we had at the Cairngorm 100 last week, Seonaid and Galileo had a fantastic run in the 100 mile. Galileo was superb all day with quick presentations and holding a great pace over the terrain, even in the extremely tough weather conditions. He picked up a stone in his shoe at around 55 miles which was dug out and then he continued on until at 80 miles he was slightly lame and so stopped. We are so proud of the honest performance he gave all day and how good he looked! It was so nice to run the ride with his half brother Flare, who made it to the finish but was also sadly slightly lame. For the first time no horses completed the challenge, a testament to how tough it was this year.
In the 50 mile race however Robyn and Willow did fantastically well, forest past the post, second overall and got best condition!
We couldn't be prouder of all the horses and their people!

Galileo and Seonaid are all set and ready to go for the Cairngorm 100 tomorrow! Team effort with John and Iain crewing and Fionnghuala and Grainne holding the fort at home!

We are delighted to have the extended family here too with Francis and Tannasg Solar Flare also in the 100 mile class and Robyn and Tannasg Willow in the 50 mile!

Seonaid and Tannasg Galileo had a fantastic day at the SERC Balgone ride today! They did the 80km at 13.64kph and finished on gold heart rates. The only ones in thier class it was a tricky day with dry, windy conditions and hard ground but they nailed it. It's always very satisfying when a horse looks like this when he's going back out to the field after a big day!
