Tannasg Arabians Tannasg Arabian stud is a small family run stud in central Scotland. We are located 50mins from Edinburgh and Glasgow and 8 hours from London.

Huge congratulations to Kathy and Tannasg Storm who won the performance formula in the 2 day 120km class at the iconic Golden Horseshoe ride!

After the ride Kathy said "I'm so proud of Storm! That was a big ask of her with a lot of climbing on stony, rocky tracks especially on day 1 and the relentless heat especially on day 2. She just kept going, still pulling at the end. Pulse at final vetting was just 43 - I couldn't believe it."

We had a fantastic time at the SERC Balgone ride at the weekend! Iain took Tannasg Adonis and Fionnghuala took Tannasg Psyonny (who is now 20!) and teamed up with Ali on Tannasg Emporio and Robyn on Tannasg Willow for a lovely 30km together. All the horses pinged round with much enthusiasm for a nice steady 12kph finish.

Also in the 30km class was Louise on Tannasg Sicario who looked fantastic and were awarded best condition!

In the 50km class Francis and Tannasg Solar Flare popped round and looked super all day!

Tannasg Rockstar on his 3rd hack today (after 2 weeks off because the weather has been horrific!!), he was as good as gold and is loving exploring.

While digging through the photo albums Seonaid came across these wonderful photos of the foundation of Tannasg Arabians, our beautiful stallion St Narreth Gay Dancer (Ludancer x Cumbria Therrisa (Brandreth)) and the wonderful Irenka (Egis x Ivernia (Barif)).

Both Dancer and Irenka can be found in the pedigrees of many of our horses up and down the country and here on the farm and we had a great great grandson of Dancer born this year!
