Say hello to Sonny and Phineas, two brothers who I had the pleasure of looking after recently. They may look the same, but had completely different personalities. The cat you see snuggled up on my chest is Phineus, who initially wouldn't come out from behind the sofa to say hello. 2 days in and he sniffed my hand. 4 days in, he was on my lap/chest purring away like we had been besties all along. It is incredibly satisfying getting a shy cat to trust you like that.

This painting I've just finished, is taken from a photo of a kitten I called Pumpkin. He was one of a litter of 7 that Niko, my 1st foster cat from Toe Beans Cat Rescue charity no. 1194490 had. He was happily rehomed with one of his brothers.
