Hey everyone, 💕
just a quick update — I’ve just been to the doctor and found out I’ve got a viral infection. I’ve been put on antibiotics, and I don’t want to risk passing it on to anyone, so unfortunately, I won’t be able to make the 4pm walk at Camperdown today.

If you were planning on coming along, you’re more than welcome to still go and do your own thing. Sorry for the short notice, and thanks for understanding!

Hey girls! 🩷

Since there was a pretty even split between morning and evening for our first walk, I’ve decided to host both on Tuesday so more of us can make it!

📍 Meeting Point: Templeton Woods Car Park
We’re choosing Templeton Woods for our first walk because we have a ranger joining us to help guide us through the trails. After everything that’s happened, I think this is a great way to reclaim the space, feel empowered, and support each other. 💪

🌅 Morning Walk: 10:00 AM
🌙 Evening Walk: 4:00 PM (so we finish before it gets dark)

Remember, you don’t need a dog to come along! 🐶🚶‍♀️ This is for everyone who wants to feel safer and meet like-minded women.

Feel free to join whichever one suits you best (or both if you’re keen)! Looking forward to seeing you all and making this a great first walk. Let me know in the comments which one you’re planning to come to! 🩷

🍃Overwhelmed & Grateful! 🩷🐾

I’ve just woken up after a night shift to see that we now have over 240 of you amazing women in this group! I honestly can’t believe how quickly this community has grown, and I’m so grateful to have so many of you here.

At the same time, it’s scary to see how many of us have had similar experiences or feel like we can’t walk alone without worrying. It’s heartbreaking that so many women feel unsafe just trying to enjoy a simple walk, but I’m so glad we now have a supportive space where we can come together and change that.

I can’t wait to plan our first group walk and meet you all in person! 🩷 Keep an eye out for updates, and feel free to suggest locations or times that work best for you in the comments—we’ll use that to help organize our first walk.

Thank you all for being part of Walk Safe Dundee and for helping create this new community. This is just the beginning! 🩷🍃🐾

🌿 Welcome to Walk Safe Dundee! 🐾

Hi everyone! As some of you may be aware, I’m the woman who was recently followed through Templeton Woods. I really enjoyed the walk and believe we should all feel safe exploring places like that—but after my experience, I no longer feel comfortable going alone.

That’s why I’ve started this page—to create a safe, supportive community for women in Dundee who want to go on walks without feeling at risk. Whether you have a dog or just want fresh air, this group is for anyone who prefers safety in numbers.

I’ll be arranging group walks at set times, and anyone is welcome to suggest meet-ups in different areas. If you ever want company for a walk, just post in the group!

Let’s look out for each other, enjoy the outdoors, and walk with confidence! 💙
