As we try and navigate our way forward after loosing an integral part of our team, Karen from Farriers bar I am mindful of the fact our customers enjoy the bar and food option immensely. With that in mind we have the pleasure in welcoming the merry_marebar to keep Farriers Refreshments spot warm until they are ready to return.

Opening days and times along with menu to follow!

We wanted to share with you all the progress of our new food/ bar area. This undercover seating space will add to our already fabulous set up with the horse box bar and grill.

I know we said no more projects but this is only a little one..... not that Jeff would agree!!!!

I will keep you all posted with an opening date.

Obviously with the loss of our wonderful Karen from Farriers Refreshments we are tentatively moving forward .... it won't be the same without her but her presence will always be with us Little Lodge Farm. ❤️💙💜💛💚🧡🌈

Cliff and his horse Rocky are the picture of relaxation soaking up the sun here at Little Lodge Farm last summer. Can they get any more chilled?

This duo are regulars with us, having ridden hundreds of miles through the forest. Cliff and his wife Deb's, have tracked plenty of fantastic routes on the Equilab app - ready for you to explore!

Diary open for 2026!!!

We can cater for small and larger groups as our lodges can sleep up to six people.

We have three 6 berth and one 4 berth lodges.
Stag lodge is our hot tub lodge which sells out very quickly so get your dates in now.

Set in the heart of Thetford Forest on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border a mile from the road with direct access into the forest with no roadwork.

Our light sandy soil makes for amazing riding all year... NO MUD!

Morning from a very serene Cape Verde- we have had a little winter sun so apologies if I've been slower than usual at getting back to enquiries.
The internet is not the best here but the sun rise is heaven.
Laptop is fired up most days but I will be back Sunday and full steam ahead ready for the busy season.

Yesterday we held our first @britshowjumping academy training session in our arena. @glh_equestrian focused on flat work and combined jumping using a central grid to really get the horses thinking and bending.
