🚨IMPORTANT🚨
There is a post circulating Facebook and the local pages concerning a dog named Odin that has unfortunately been badly injured at a doggy daycare here on-island.
We're so sorry to Odin's family that something such as this has happened at all, and hope that Odin is able to make a full and speedy recovery after his poor experience.
🚨We want to assure our loyal customers that this incident did not occur at our daycare.🚨
While we are so sincerely sorry to hear this has happened at all, we do always advise that minor cuts scrapes bumps and minor bites are always a possibility and may happen at daycare during some rough play. Should these ever occur within our care we are always 100% honest and transparent about it, report to owners, recommend vet visits straight away, and follow up with advice and aftercare.
Integrity is absolutely at the forefront of our business, and should be with any other place also caring for a member of your family.
We are always happy to show clients into our daycare to view areas that their dogs will be cared for, and we have ALWAYS separated dogs according to size, play style and personalities to ensure the safest size appropriate play environment possible.
Our staff are appropriately trained experienced and knowledgeable, as well as us all being dog owners ourselves, and despite there being no local animal regulations we follow UK laws and regulations with regards to staffing levels, and always ensure there are no more than ten dogs to any individual person, as well as having a max capacity of dogs at any one time that we do not exceed.
We are fully insured with both building insurance for any issues that may possibly occur with our premises, and public liability insurance for any serious incidents should they occur, between the dogs.
The safety of your dogs is absolutely paramount to us.
It isn't about numbers money or packing as many dogs as possible into our space.
We have a duty of care to every single dog that we care for, and our top priority every single day is the health happiness and comfort of all of your dogs that we treat as our very own.
Our hearts absolutely go out to Odin and to his family.
Hopefully whichever daycare this incident occurred within will learn and improve, to ensure nothing like this happens again within their facility.
