Luna making so much progress over the last few months. Working on so many things, heel work with focus in built up areas, desensitisation to her triggers which was basically anything that moved. spent time every evening working on her obedience and slowing things down and teaching her to be calm. Still lots of work to be done with her but nailing down the basic foundations has been a journey to say the least but she is absolutely getting there, she even works for food now which is something we didn't think was achievable because she was always so aroused in her surroundings.
What a girl and what an incredible journey we are having. Watch this space..... 🖤🤎

How important are you to your dog?

Does your dog see you as the most important thing in their life or just the thing that feeds them and takes them for a walk.

What kind of relationship do you have with your dog?
A relationship based on trust, leadership and an unbreakable bond or one of the dog making all the decisions and does what it wants when it wants?

It's about Putting in the time and training, being the most important thing in your dogs life no matter where you are or what you are doing.

I was out with my dogs this morning off lead with miles and miles of open space for the dogs to go wherever they want yet they 'choose' to be with me. the individual bond I have with each dog is through understanding their characters and breeds and training them from the first day I got them with clear boundaries, routine and structure.
It's a good feeling knowing I can trust them with my life, trust them in any situation. they are fantastic, obedient and balanced dogs,I put the work in, the rewards for me are being able to go walking with my family and not have to worry about what my dogs are doing because they 'choose' to be by my side 😊🐾

⭐DARWIN, 2yr old doberman ⭐

UPDATE.
Thank you to everyone for the interest in Darwin, we have had quite a lot of enquiries so for the time being we won't be taking any new enquiries but will update again soon.
Thank you 🐾

Darwin has been with us for just over a year now. When he first started he was a typical doberman full of energy and wild, no manners around people and dogs, pulled like a train on the leash and was showing signs of becoming reactive.
We have worked hard with Darwin and he is a fantastic dog, he can be around other dogs off leash respectfully, he can be a bit too much for some dogs but that's mainly down to his high energy but he's not aggressive or reactive and if a dog tells him they've had enough he listens and leaves them alone.
His leash walking isn't perfect but 100% better than it was and he will walk past people and dogs with no bother, he is crate trained and can be left alone for a couple of hours after a walk/exercise.
Darwin is a really good all round dog, he loves affection, great with kids and lives with a cat which he is also great with.

Unfortunately Darwins owners circumstances have dramatically changed and he is now looking for a new home.
I don't normally get involved with rehoming but Darwin is brilliant and if I didn't already have six dogs I would take him myself without a second thought.
Darwin would suit an owner/family that could give him a couple of walks a day or someone who could take him to work with them (he would love being a work dog), His training would need to be continued but we are more than happy to help with this and he will always have his place on our training field if needed.
If you are interested in Darwin and would like more information please get in touch and we can organise meeting him to see him with other dogs, take him for a walk etc.

No time wasters please as this is fairly urgent, he is such a good dog and we will do our absolute best to get him set up with a new home and future 🤎

Having well trained dogs doesn't just happen with the click of your fingers. Good solid obedience and clear instructions as to what you want them to do can literally save their lives and most importantly makes walking your dog so much more enjoyable.
Here we spotted a cyclist, my dogs told to 'wait', one word, one time not repeating myself and then a pigeon decided to join us but dogs still not released from 'wait', their focus is on me and not the surrounding environment. Spend the time training your dogs and they will be everything you want them to be.

Some lovely work from finn the collie pup, his owners paid us a visit as finn had never been off lead around dogs so we were able to help with this in a controlled setting using one of our exceptionally good dogs Mazsi the Visla for finn to learn from. Here we just wanted to get some focus from finn while being around another dog and he smashed it
