Happy bank holiday weekend! Spent the weekend with this fluffy girl! Lots of naps, shady walks and evening strolls along the water 💦 Hope everyone managed to stay cool and less grumpy than the Boston in the first photo 😂

Have you ever JUST followed your dog on a walk?

Because while we’re thinking about work, bills, emails, whether we locked the front door, and how quickly we can get back home… your dog is out here receiving constant invisible updates from the wind:

💕“Friendly old Lab nearby. Walks slowly now. Smells like biscuits.”
🦊“Fox crossed field overnight. Definitely male. Went THAT way.”
🥪“Someone dropped half a sandwich approximately 12 metres ahead.”
🚨🚨🚨“BALL IN A BUSH NEARBY!!!”
🌳“I haven’t peed on this tree in 2 days. Unacceptable.”
💔“Karen from small house smells like sad today”
🤞🏻“That cockapoo smells nervous but probably wants to be friends- I can be his friend.”
🧑🏼‍✈️“Tiny dachshund nearby appears wildly overconfident for something with legs that short.”
💩“Unknown terrier has changed his food. Smells delicious”
“Man approaching smells like petrol station coffee and stress.”
🐈“Fatcat Fred under blue car again. Let’s see him run again- LOL!”
🏎️“Spaniel passed through here at speed and poor decision making.”
🌭“Someone nearby is cooking chicken.”

And we wonder why dogs keep stopping every 3 seconds to sniff “nothing.”

Let them sniff!!
A slow sniffy walk can genuinely be more enriching than the same rushed 30 minute route every day.

👀Spot the difference 👀

One paw: nice grip, good floor contact.
The other: fluffy little grinch foot,slippery on floors

Hairy feet might look cute, but all that excess fur can seriously affect grip and stability, especially on slippery floors. Sometimes a little paw tidy can make a huge difference to confidence and movement.

So get the scissors (or dad’s beard trimmer) out and clean up those toe beans!
