Just a polite notice to all clients of G A Livestock Services.
Due to limited availability during the busy shearing season, I can now only confirm appointments when clients are fully committed to booking with me and are not continuing to look for another shearer before the appointment date straight after we have booked the appointment in.
Like all shearers, my diary fills up quickly, and I am doing my absolute best to fit everybody in fairly and efficiently. When appointments are cancelled because another shearer has been found, that time slot could have been offered to another customer who may have been waiting for an appointment.
I completely understand that emergencies and unavoidable situations can sometimes happen, and I will always do my best to be understanding where possible. However, booking a date and then continuing to look for another shearer straight afterwards isn’t fair when availability is already very limited.
To secure the best appointment times, I always recommend booking your sheep in a few months in advance where possible. As of 2027 all new clients will have to now pay a small deposit in order to be booked.
Thank you all for the continued support — it’s been lovely catching up with clients so far this season, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming jobs ahead.
