The FUCHS UK British Historic Rally Championship once again delivered an impressive weekend of action as round two of the series took crews to the iconic stages of Aberhirnant and Dyfnant for the Get Jerky Rally North Wales.

Max McRae has joined his father, uncle and grandfather on the Rally North Wales winners list 🏆

He pipped Meirion Evans to victory on the final stage of the rally, winning by only 2.3s 🤏

🗞️ McRae snatches Trailhead Get Jerky Rally North Wales victory in final stage thriller

Max McRae scribed his name on the Get Jerky Rally North Wales trophy alongside his father, uncle and grandad on Saturday, as he and Cameron Fair took their Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 to a spectacular victory in the Welsh forests.

But it would come down to the very last stage of the event, with leaders for much of the rally Meirion Evans/Dale Furniss, suffering a cruel final stage spin in their Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, eventually finishing second place with the Ford Fiesta Rally2 crew of Elliott Payne/Patrick Walsh rounding out the podium spot.
