What little cuties I get to meet, nail clips, anal gland expressing and a dematt.

The dematt was especially pleasing as Scampi is a nervous older chap who I have seen many times now to clip his nails. He used to have to be sedated at the vets to have them done, so when I was asked to do his dematt I was a little concerned it may not be achievable without sedation. However he was amazing! He had little breaks throughout and sat beautifully with his owner whilst I clipped him. He secretly enjoyed having them removed and releasing the tension from the matted hair.
I’m not a groomer and I ensure my clients are aware that I do it for the welfare of the animal not for beauty. So my aim is to save the stress (and money) of them going into a vets or groomers. 🐶🐱🐭🐹🐰👩‍⚕️
