A quick reminder.

Don’t forget sheep need to be dry for shearing. Bring them undercover for at least 24hours prior to shearing if rain is forecast. If this isn’t possible, let us know asap the morning of shearing if you have wet sheep so we can rearrange.

We also need somewhere undercover to shear if it’s raining during shearing.

One of the best things about shearing this time of the year is seeing all the lambs 💕 this little lamb decided to take a nap in the wool whilst we sheared!

This will be a Valais Blacknose specific one day shearing course using the techniques and skills I’ve developed shearing Valais over the past few years.
It will be using my own sheep at my own location in Derby on 1st March 2026.
