I have completed lots of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in areas such as;

• Weight Management to include Nutrition and Diet

• Emergency and critical care including Triage and CPR

• Reproductive emergencies to include whelping and hand rearing

Meet Korky - she is a little rescue kitten that was handed in to the vets as a stray. After following all protocol to try and reunite her, no owner came forward so with the help of the vet with vaccines and spaying - i fostered Korky for a little while and found her a forever home. I regularly visit Korky and her new owner and will trim her nails when needed and apply her routine flea treatment prescribed by the vet. Although I am not a rescue centre, I will help where I can to make sure every animal is taken care of. I can also provide the services I provide Korky for your pets too! This lovely duo are mother and daughter - Lola and Tula. They occasionally come to stay for a few days whilst their mum is away. I am back to business as usual - with appointments available Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I offer a variety of services and cover a wide range within Derby so if you have a pet that doesn’t travel well or you are unable to get to the vets for routine health care, I am here to help! 🥰

NOTE: the Euthanasia/Grief support is not for Euthanasia itself, that can only be performed by a Veterinarian. My service is to provide support prior to, during and after the event to include talking you through the process, helping you prepare, emotional support, liaising with your vets and a private crematorium in arranging cremation, taking your beloved pet there and returning their ashes back to your home and then providing support during your grieving process. Sorry if this caused any confusion!

Here is sweet Poppy, her mum told me her heartbreaking rescue story and the battles Poppy has faced over the years. Thankfully she has landed on her paws with her family and they contacted me to help with her a**l glands which have been causing a bit of bother. With lots of treats and a cuddle from mum, we managed to express the glands and clean her bottom in no time.

Well done Poppy ❤️ a fitting name for this tome of year ❤️

Little Poppy had a mani-pedi today. Because she’s getting older and showing signs of Arthritis, she cant exercise as well as she used to which means her nails don’t file down as well. Thats where I come in to help and trim them back to make walking more comfortable and reduce the chances of ingrown nails. Poppy was the bravest girl and a pleasure to work with! Well done sweetie 🩷

Here is little Lola, who was such a brave girl for her nail trim! Lola is quite dog reactive so struggles in a clinic environment but was very happy at home, having treats with her mum whilst I worked on her toes ❤️ well done Lola ❤️
