Dlaczego psie łapki pachną popcornem? 🐾🍿

To bardzo częste pytanie — i całkiem normalne zjawisko 😊

Zapach „popcornu” z psich łapek pochodzi głównie od naturalnych bakterii i drożdżaków, które żyją na skórze psa. Najczęściej odpowiadają za to mikroorganizmy takie jak Proteus i Pseudomonas (to normalna flora skóry).

Dlaczego pachnie właśnie jak popcorn? 🤔

Podczas rozkładu potu i martwego naskórka produkują one związki chemiczne (m.in. podobne do tych powstających przy prażeniu kukurydzy), które nasz nos interpretuje jako zapach
popcornu, chipsów kukurydzianych, czasem pieczonego chleba.

Czy to jest normalne?

✅ Tak — jeśli zapach jest lekki lub przyjemny
łapki nie są czerwone, wilgotne ani bolesne
pies się nadmiernie nie wylizuje.

⚠️ Warto sprawdzić u weterynarza, jeśli
zapach jest bardzo intensywny lub nieprzyjemny
