I went to Australia to spend time with my sister and her family and simply have a lovely holiday, i had no idea it would become such a huge shift in my life.
Before I went, I already knew I needed a change, now that I have my forever home, i want a life that allows me to actually come home at the end of the day but whatever i did next, I knew it had to involve dogs.
There had to be something that would let me work with them while giving me more time in my own home.
Then I met Hooper 🐾
For some reason, i became completely attached to this handsome old Australian farm dog, i loved his funny little mannerisms and his beautiful face, covered in scars from his time spent protecting the chooks from foxes.
Hooper is nearly 14 bless him 💫
I fell in love with him and found myself taking photo after photo, somewhere along the way, i realised how much I loved capturing him exactly as he was, so that sparked an idea.
I have always adored senior dogs, so what if I could photograph their character, capture the moments that matter and create something their families could keep forever?
And that was the beginning of Presley’s Pawtraits.
Darwin inspired Pawsome Dog and House Sitting and all these years later, Hooper inspired my next chapter.
Thank you, Hooper, you probably have no idea what you started but I will always be grateful 🥹🩷🐾
