The warmer weather is finally here & whilst we cool ourselves down with some Ice Lollies 🍧 make sure you keep your four-legged pals cool too.
🌞 Walk your dogs very early in the morning & late in the evening, try testing the pavement with your the back of your hand (or your own bare foot if you like) before heading out - you'll be surprised at how hot it is!
🌞 Provide access to fresh, clean water and shaded, cool surfaces. Rooms that are bathed in direct sunlight can benefit from having the curtains closed to keep cooler, open windows to allow breeze to flow.
💧 Wetting paws can help your pets to cool off & don't rely solely on fans as they don't cool off pets effectively as they do people.
❌ NEVER ever leave your pets in a parked car. Not even for a 'minute'.
🌡 Higher humidity means it takes lower temperatures to get excessive heat exposure
🐾 Older, obese or short-nosed (brachycephalic) pets are less tolerant of heat.

Hi, I’m Jack Elsigood.
​I started Jack’s Dog Walks as a side project, but I quickly realized that working with dogs is exactly where I’m meant to be. My journey is a bit unique: I actually grew up quite scared of dogs and was always very wary around them. However, I soon discovered that they are the ultimate companions. Today, I have dogs of my own and truly couldn't imagine life without them.
​I understand firsthand how much a dog changes a family's life. When you book a walk with me, you can rest assured that I will treat your pup exactly like my own.

​True Adventures: I don't just book a private field and watch your dog run in circles. I find my own peace in the outdoors, and I bring that energy to our walks.
