Holly's Doggy Deli, 9 Northumberland Street, Darlington was launched after many years of searching for the perfect treats and accessories for my Cocker Spaniel Holly. After Holly was diagnosed with an inflammatory disease of the central nervous system called GME in January 2015 I realised that I wanted to fulfil my long awaited dream of owning my very own business. The tears streamed down my face

when I saw the “To Let” sign above the shop in Northumberland Street. After talking about my ideas for over a year I could never have dreamed that my ideal shop would ever become available! Needless to say, months later everything became a reality and I officially opened the doors to my very own Pet Boutique on 6th August 2016 with my Best Friend (Holly) by my side. I couldn’t have done it without the support of family and friends. Everyone has been truly amazing! We stock a range of Premium Pet foods catering for even the smallest of mouths. Even the fussiest of dogs are finding enjoyment in our foods because the quality of ingredients are much better than what you’ll find in the commercial brands on most supermarket shelves. Being an independent retailer I wanted our shop to be something special where people would enjoy shopping for their pets. I’m also passionate about what I choose to source before it goes onto the shelves and tend to try out most things with our own dogs first. You can find anything from cheesy dog popcorn, organic home baked treats and even a doggy woofin for those special occasions!! Many of our accessories are handmade like our range of pet beds, collars & leads and even quirky handmade wooden signs and mugs if you’re looking for a special gift. Our shop is perfectly located for customers in Darlington, Yarm, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe and Teesside overall.

Ostrich Tendons, Pizzles and even Bully Twists which are perfect for puppies and the senior dogs in our lives. There’s something for everyone this Halloween weekend.

If your dogs are feeling a little overwhelmed and nervous about the fireworks at the moment then having something to chew on like a tasty treat can be the perfect distraction they need.

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Patterdale Pup Nellie for the first time.

She went home with a bag FULL of goodies. But she managed to get started on her Easy Antler while she was in the shop.

Nellie is only 16 weeks old but she’s already doing amazing with her training. Can’t wait to see you again little one 🐶

Our story

Holly’s Doggy Deli Pet Boutique is a haven for the very best dog food, healthy treats and stylish pet accessories. Catering for dogs and puppies of all life stages. When Holly was diagnosed with GME in January 2015 it was a must to fulfill a passion in life and start my own business. And there it began in August 2016 where we opened the doors to our big adventure! With special thanks to my Fiance Kevin. The support from friends and family has been truly amazing! Being an Independent Retailer I wanted our shop to be something special where people could enjoy shopping for their pets and where every dog will be welcomed with treats and cuddles. There’s no better feeling than being told by owners that their dogs have quite literally dragged them to the shop or the ones that just refuse to leave. It’s truly overwhelming!

You can find anything from Locally Sourced Dog Beer, Organic home baked treats and even a doggy woofin for those special occasions!! During the summer months we will be stocking a fabulous range of Doggy Ice Cream and Pawsecco Pops! You will find our shop located at 9 Northumberland Street in Darlington just off Grange Road and there is street parking available right outside the door so no long walks are ever necessary.
