The aviary budgies have found a home ❤️

We've sent our 4 young magpies and 6 young jackdaws out with a foster who will release them on her property in a few months when it is appropriate.

Our pilkie (Silkie x Pekin) hen and our pekin Roo have gone home, along with 4 pigeons, Mallow, Peaches, Sherbet and Dipper.

6 more went out on a soft release placement

And our 4 pheasant poults also joined so they can join a lone youngster who we took in a few weeks ago too.

I am running low on sleep, energy, and it won't be long until we get more babies in.

I have 6 sparrows and a Robin I'm about to put outside to adjust to the cooler weather so they can also be released in a few days.

Please bear with me if I am slow to respond or don't get back to you, I am exhausted

Network rail, you are despicable.

We were told at the scene that you had released 3 birds before we got there and all had flown off.

Come down today after another concerning and this is what I see.

3 stuck pigeons. Behind wire they have absolutely no way of getting into.

The grey bird and the dark bird are the same two birds in my original video. The darker checked bird is the bird who was nodding at me and even though he managed a few today, is very clearly starving to death trapped in a place they should have been freed from DAYS AGO.

I AM FURIOUS.

You best get yourselves here tonight.

This dark checked pigeon will not last much longer.

They were first reported on the 26th.

The 28th work was carried out to the wire and we were told that 3 pigeons had been released before they fixed it.

Two of these pigeons are in the video I took on the 26th.

This bridge is in Darlington.

The bridge code is DAE 1-20

REUNITED WITH OWNERS

A special visitor today!

A Red Tailed hawk ♥️

This bird is not staying with us and is being collecting in a few hours by a friend who is an experienced bird of prey carer with a spare mews this bird can stay in.

We can only provide triage and critical care to birds of prey, it is simply not safe to have them here for prolonged periods.

This bird was found in Crook being mobbed by crows. It is missing some feathers on the back of the head and is a little light, but they have no major injuries at all.

If this is your bird, please message us with her Ring ID number.

IBR aware also.
