Today around an appointment for myself I managed to do my mum and dad’s dogs buster and Brandi. Buster is an old boy now who struggles to stand for the whole groom so requires the support of my harness to help complete his groom 🥺 can you believe hell be 16 in a few weeks!! Brandi didn’t need a full groom today but most definitely needed a freshen up as she was a bit stinky 😷 grooming isn’t her favourite thing but lots of cuddles whilst being blow dried and she gets through it 🥰

With all this hot weather it’s hard to continue working and pampering all your lovely doggies🐶. When it’s really hot I have to reschedule to avoid any unnecessary discomfort for the doggies, 🥵this also means I struggle to have time to do my own dogs🙈! So this morning I decided it was time to give Freddo a well overdue bath and haircut! He’s back to being a white dog again… for now! He loves to roll and get dirty 😅

Hey everyone, due to the heat today and tomorrow I’ve decided to shut from lunchtime onwards for the welfare of all the doggies. If you’re booked in for tomorrow morning your groom will still go ahead at an earlier time to avoid the heat. Everyone who has been affected has been contacted so no need to panic. To help keep your doggies cool in this weather you can offer frozen fruit like pineapple and watermelon, offer fresh cold water and keep cool spaces like tiled flooring available for your doggies 🐶

Hey everyone, I’ve felt the need to come on here and and explain the dangers of walking your dog in this heat! I’ve seen many people out walking their dogs in temperatures above 23! This is incredibly dangerous as not only does it increase your dogs risk of heatstroke but also causes burns on your dogs paw pads. If you wouldn’t go for a walk barefoot yourself please don’t walk your dog! Please think before walking your dog, if it’s reading 23 or higher don’t go. Missing a walk won’t kill your dog but heatstroke will!
