What a weekend to finish your last race! Bailey and I would like to thank everyone who we have become friends with over the years. Furnations is a special event and Glamis holds a special place in our hearts.

Only last year we became Scotlands first coaches at Glamis and this year Bailey ran his last timed race. At nearly 11 years old he is putting his paws up and just focusing on being a CEO and coach.

This boy has given me the world since we started and we may never have gained any medals or silverware but the wee dood makes me feel I’ve just won the moon when we cross the line, so I know I already have gold in him. ♥️ Luv ya big guy x

So it was lucky number 13 today for Hails Bails coaches 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🫶🏻 Congratulations Stewart Furay 🍻Glad to have managed under 35mins which included a photo stop with Iain at marshal point one. Surgery on my knee only 7 weeks ago 🙌🏻 I was considering giving it all up at one point then last year at this time my teammie and I became Scotlands first qualified Canicross coaches but had to walk the Glamis course due to my knee. Now a year later we have a nice wee business, we ran Bailey’s last race in a time under 35 mins which is what I knew we both could do.

Thank you wee guy as always my trusty hero and the best coach a girl could have. Thank you Bailey I love you and you will always be my buddy ♥️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Next APDT Webinar!

Running with Reactive Dogs 🐶

Want to do more with your dog OR help your clients explore active options? This presentation will explore how running can be a positive and empowering activity for reactive dogs and their owners when approached thoughtfully and safely.

📆 Date: 13 May 2026

⏰ Time: 19:15 – 20:45 (UK)

📍 Format: Online webinar

Three Key Takeaway Messages from this webinar:

🐾 The benefits of running with a reactive dog

🐾 When not to run with a reactive dog

🐾 Tools to help you run with a reactive dog

Learn from Emily all about opportunities to get active with your dog or to support your clients in looking at options, even with dogs who might be a little worried about the wider world!

Emily will be aiming this at people who haven’t canicrossed with their dog before and who may be nervous of it for their dog because they have shown signs of reactivity, but even if canicross isn't your bag, this is an opportunity to explore other active options safely, for dogs and people alike.
