We wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves properly and share the story behind how we started our dogsitting business, along with what continues to motivate us to provide the very best care for your beloved pets.
Our journey into professional dogsitting began quite naturally — we initially offered our services to family members and close friends whenever they needed someone trustworthy to look after their dogs. During this time, we quickly discovered how much we genuinely enjoyed the experience. Every dog we met brought its own unique breed characteristics, personality, quirks, and energy, and we found ourselves looking forward to each new interaction. What started as a favour for loved ones soon grew into a true passion for us.
At the same time, we became increasingly aware of the common anxieties many pet owners face when considering boarding kennels. Sadly, I experienced this concern firsthand with one of my own previous dogs. After a stay at a kennel, he returned with part of his tail missing after it was reportedly caught in a gate — an incident that was both distressing and entirely avoidable. That personal experience left a lasting impression and reinforced our strong belief that dogs deserve a safer, more comfortable, and more attentive alternative to traditional kennel environments.
This is precisely why we decided to establish our dogsitting service. Our primary goal is to act as a reliable “peace of mind” solution for pet owners. We want you to feel confident knowing that your furry family member is being cared for in a loving, attentive, and their own secure home — and that they will return to you happy, healthy, and with every paw and tail fully intact😅
We fully understand that entrusting your dog to someone new can still feel daunting, even with the best intentions. That is why we offer completely free, no-obligation meet-and-greet sessions at your home, as many times as you feel necessary. During these visits, we are more than happy to accommodate whatever approach makes you most comfortable — whether that involves simply sitting down for a relaxed chat, going for a gentle walk together with your dog, or discussing in detail any specific routines, dietary needs, medical requirements, or behavioural preferences your dog may have. Our aim is to build trust and ensure both you and your dog feel entirely at ease before any sitting arrangement begins.
We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know so many of you and your wonderful dogs over the past few weeks. The warmth and support from this community have been truly overwhelming. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has shared our posts, tagged friends and family, and recommended us — your kindness and generosity have helped us grow far more quickly than we could have imagined in such a short time. None of this would have been possible without your support, and we are deeply grateful☺️
