🐾 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🐾

I just wanted to check in after being a little quiet on here over the past few weeks.

I’ve been waiting for confirmation on a new role, and now everything is in place I wanted to share an update with you all.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I’ve recently accepted a new role alongside running The Cottage Tails. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s something I needed to do to create a bit more stability.

Because of this, I’ll no longer be offering home boarding services for the foreseeable future.

I’m really sorry to anyone I’ve had to move or cancel bookings for, I know this may have caused inconvenience and I truly appreciate your understanding.

Going forward, my main focus will be on:
🐕 Group walks
🐕 Dog walking
🐾 Pet check-ins

These services will continue, however my availability will be more limited and priority will be given to regular clients.

I’ve absolutely loved having your dogs stay with me, and if one day my circumstances allow, especially with a bit more space, I would love to reopen my books for boarding again in the future.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and trusted me with your dogs, it really does mean a lot 🐾

At The Cottage Tails, my focus is on calm, structured care with small numbers, thoughtful handling, and your dog’s wellbeing always coming first.

🌲 Dog Walking
My core service. Choose from private woodland walks, local solo walks, or small group adventures tailored to your dog’s needs. Available as regular bookings or ad-hoc sessions.

🐕 Group Walks in a Secure Paddock
I offer small, carefully managed group walks in a secure, privately hired paddock this is ideal for dogs who enjoy space, freedom, and safe off-lead exercise.
Groups are kept small and suitability is always assessed.
Private and 1-to-1 paddock sessions are also available for dogs who prefer their own space or need extra support.

🏡 Pet Check-Ins
Perfect for busy days or long shifts, including feeding, companionship, and administering prescribed medication where required.

🏠 Limited Home Boarding
A small number of boarding spaces are available. Choose from premium one-to-one boarding (just your dog or family of pets), or carefully matched social boarding for suitable dogs.
Social boarding is always subject to suitability and availability.

✨ First post of 2026 ✨

These really are my favourite days.
Days spent surrounded by wagging tails, muddy paws, happy faces and dogs who feel safe, loved and completely themselves 🐾

This is Part 1 of some of the wonderful dogs I’ve had the absolute pleasure of looking after since starting The Cottage Tails. And honestly, 20 slides still does not come close to covering them all 🤍

I feel so incredibly grateful to every owner who has trusted me with their dogs and welcomed me into their routines. Being part of their lives, even in a small way, is something I never take for granted.

Here is to another year of walks, cuddles, adventures and very happy dogs ✨🐶
