We are delighted to announce that FlexiChase are sponsoring Josh’s yard for the forthcoming Point to Point season. Established in 2022 by amateur jockey Charlie Marshall, we are delighted to be able to team up with FlexiChase and look forward to showing off our new kit at Lower Machen this weekend.

FlexiChase have a wide range of fences and hurdles in multiple sizes, that can be tailored to your individual needs. They are already very popular with the National Hunt and Point to Point trainers. Our schooling field will never have looked so good! 🤩

Former British point-to-pointers Kingofthefrontier and Woodstock Octo were reported to be in good health this morning after significant victories at Cheltenham’s October meeting.

Both horses won races in last season’s GB Pointing Bonus Young Horse Maiden Series and each has now won subsequent bonuses for success under rules. Kingofthefrontier, a British-bred five-year-old who won at Charm Park in March when trained by Cherry Coward, won £25,000 when landing a maiden hurdle at Southwell in June for John Dawson’s stable. On Friday at Cheltenham he became a poster boy for British point-to-pointing when winning a Gr.2 novices hurdle in grand style at odds of 20/1 for owner George Critchley.

A brilliant first win of the season for us as El Capitaine landed the Dartmoor Magazine Intermediate Chase, for Ivan Thompson under a great ride from Brendan Powell!

Here’s to another exciting season 🤞🏼

Several people recently have commented on how much our string has grown over the last few years.. and honestly I’d not really given it too much thought until I came across videos of 2019 and our string of when we moved to Blackmore. We were basically a string of 3/4 each lot - my gosh hasn’t it grown ❤️

I’m never where I want to be, and I always feel behind, I still suffer from incredible bouts of imposter syndrome and yet somehow, KWR has grown to be so much more than it used to be. And even more amazing, we are so lucky to be surrounded by team members and owners that have been on this journey the whole time.

Enough looking back though, bring on 2026/27 🏇🏼🏇🏼
