The temperatures are incredibly high at the moment, so please keep your dogs safe and cool. Unless it’s absolutely necessary — like a vet appointment — they really don’t need to be out in this heat.

I was at the pub yesterday and couldn’t believe someone had their dog out in 31°C weather. Even sitting in the shade, that kind of heat is still dangerous. At the start of the week it was only 15°C, so our dogs haven’t had any time to acclimatise to these sudden rise temperatures.

Please be smart, avoid unnecessary walks, keep them hydrated, and help them stay cool and safe. 🐶☀️

🐾 JUNE PACK WALK 🐾

Join us for our next structured pack walk on:

📍 Crawley Down Car Park
📅 June 6th
⏰ 10AM

Our pack walks are designed to help dogs learn to exist calmly around other dogs while working on real-life obedience in a controlled environment.

These walks are perfect for dogs that need help with:
✔ Loose lead walking
✔ Over excitement around dogs/people
✔ Reactivity
✔ Engagement with owners outdoors
✔ Confidence building
✔ General obedience around distractions

This is not just a “dog walk.”
The focus is on structure, calmness and teaching dogs how to switch off and make better choices out in the real world 🐾

Dogs do not need to interact with each other to benefit from the walk.

Limited spaces available — message the page to book 🐾💚

🚨 Calling all reactive dog owners 🚨

Whether your dog reacts to other dogs, people, cars, bikes, or anything in between you are NOT alone, and more importantly… it can be worked on.

Reactivity is often misunderstood. It’s not “bad behaviour” it’s usually driven by fear, frustration, or over-arousal. With the right guidance, structure, and training, real progress is absolutely possible.

We’re currently looking for reactive cases to help support Lorri, our trainee, in developing her skills to the highest level under professional guidance.

✨ What this means for you:
• A structured, practical training approach
• Support tailored to your dog’s specific triggers
• A chance to make real progress in a controlled, safe way
• 50% OFF your first session

This is ideal for owners who are committed to putting the work in and want honest, effective help.

Let’s talk about crates 🐾

Crates often get a bad reputation, with some people believing they’re cruel or unnecessary. But when introduced and used correctly, crate training can be one of the most valuable skills you teach your dog.

A crate isn’t a punishment — it’s your dog’s safe space. A quiet place where they can relax, sleep, or take themselves away if the house feels a bit busy (especially when visitors come over!).

Crate training also helps prepare dogs for real-life situations. If they ever need to stay at the vets, travel, or be confined for recovery, it’s something they’re already comfortable with rather than a new and stressful experience.

For me, knowing my girls are safely settled in their crates when I’m out gives real peace of mind. I know they can’t hurt themselves or get into something they shouldn’t. And let’s be honest — even the most reliable dogs can have the occasional mischievous moment!

When done properly, a crate becomes a den, not a cage. A place your dog chooses to go because it feels safe, calm, and familiar 💚

5 Things I wish I knew when I first got Nova.

You may have seen Nova floating around on my page, she was my first dog that I owed and trained.

She is the reason I am a trainer (still learning) but it's also to help people who were in my position, to help build confidence and show life isn't scary.

If you have a dog who is nervous, pulls on the lead and you need help, please do get in touch 💚
