Hello fellow animal lovers!
Thank you for visiting our page! J & K Crafts started from the combination of a mother's creative flair and the entrepreneurial vision of a 2nd year uni student. It all began with a single, handmade rosette hanger and a few local horse sales before gradually growing into a passionate and loving family ran endeavour focused on beloved pets and their besotted humans! Our mission statement - to bring the homemade and the handmade to pet-kind! We make no bones about the fact that we are chasing a big dream, but we enjoy every second of what we do and are certain we can make our dream a reality!
We pride ourselves in creating bespoke handmade items alongside a range of delicious homemade treats to cater for pooch and horse (and eventually more!). Our range is vast and varied but always lovingly handmade. From rosette hangers to dog collars we are sure you’ll find something to suit your four legged friend. For J & K Crafts on tour, you will find us attending Northumbrian Farmers Markets, County Fairs and all over Etsy and social media. We support local causes and follow equestrian and canine sports around the country. Meet the team:
JO
Jo is the creative genius behind the majority of our products - although she'd never admit it. It was Jo who made the first ever rosette hanger for Kelly which in turn catalysed the whole concept of J & K Crafts. From bandanas to rosette hangers to play mats, Jo's careful hands thread every needle to ensure our products are made to the highest of standards. Jo's passion, determination and drive ensures that J & K Crafts stock levels match demand and whilst she juggles another two jobs along with another two children she pours every ounce of love and passion into J & K Crafts making it the success it is today.
KELLY
After receiving a rosette hanger from Jo and shouting "everyone will want one of these!" (aka 'the lightbulb moment'), Kelly considers herself the ultimate founder of J & K Crafts. An avid people-person, Kelly's connections within the Horse and Dog community has enabled J & K Crafts to go from strength-to-strength and develop more products which the customers want. Using a fair bit of day-dreaming coupled with a dash of business knowledge, Kelly has pioneered our logo, page, blog and even this very website. All-in-all, Kelly is the social media and marketing side of this duo, but she also boasts some fantastic treat baking skills too which means Jo isn't doing all the heavy labour alone!
