📌 PLEASE READ – THIS IS NOT A PRICE INCREASE 📌

Before anyone worries, this is not a price increase. These have been my prices since the start of the year. The only difference is that I am now standing by them and applying them consistently moving forward.

As many of you know, I am far too guilty of giving discounts and not always standing over my own rules. Going forward, all future bookings will be charged in line with the price list and policies posted on the page.

My prices for the last year have been £25 for small dogs and £30 for medium and large dogs, yet in reality I have rarely charged this and always charge for small dog. I often feel guilty charging this and have little confidence in myself when quoting prices I dont feel deserving of the amount, however I have done months of market research and I am still under pricing and I can promise my prices wont go up , but the truth is that Woof & Wander is a specialist home boarding service and I need to stick to one rule for everyone and believe we are in fact worth it.

Your dogs stay in my own home sometimes my bed, not kennels or outside or in crates. They become part of the family, receive individual care, attention, supervision, enrichment, and are treated as if they were my own. That level of care requires a huge amount of time, responsibility, and commitment, and the pricing needs to reflect that.

I also need to stand by my collection times, deposits, and booking policies moving forward. Unfortunately, every time I make exceptions or try to help, I often end up being taken advantage of, which isn't fair on the business, my family, or the clients who do follow the rules.

I truly appreciate every single person who trusts me with their dogs and supports Woof & Wander. Without you, none of this would be possible. ❤️

At Woof & Wander the dogs are absolutely loving our indoor/outdoor setup today 🥰 Between the paddling pools, hoses and cool indoor spaces they have plenty of choice to stay comfortable in this heat. Some have been little sun worshippers while others have preferred chilling indoors in the cool — and that’s completely fine too 💛

That’s the beauty of our home from home daycare… every dog can do what suits them best. No forcing dogs into one environment, just safe, relaxed fun tailored to each individual dog 🐾
We are so lucky to have indoor warehouses, shaded areas, the house and outdoor spaces so the dogs can safely enjoy their day no matter the weather ☀️💦🏡

Due to it being so warm today can you all please be mindful and collect dogs early from daycare where possible ☀️🐶

We are very lucky at Woof & Wander to have not one but TWO indoor warehouses alongside the house for dogs to come inside for downtime out of the sun. We also have hoses wetting the ground, shaded areas and multiple paddling pools to help keep everyone cool 🩵

However safety always comes first and if dogs can be collected earlier it is always safer on hotter days.

If you use any daycare setting please ask the questions — what is the process on hot days? How are your dogs being kept safe? 🌡️

All walks today have been amended, shortened or cancelled to suit the weather. Please remember a missed walk is far more important than a dog becoming sick or worse from heatstroke.
Does your dog walker or daycare have a backup plan for extreme weather? Don’t be afraid to ask questions when trusting someone with your dog ❤️
