From Sculptor to Stylist. From Artist to Artisan. 🎨✂️
Hi, I’m Sarah—the founder, designer, and maker behind Albie’s Boutique.
I thought it was time to properly introduce myself and share the story behind our transition into the world of luxury grooming.
My journey didn’t start with shears; it started with fine art. I originally trained as an artist and sculptor, eventually spending over 10 years in education. But as I moved into a management role, I realised I was losing touch with the creativity that defined me.

The Turning Point:
During a period of illness, Albie was brought into my life. He quickly became my soulmate and my shadow. With him faithfully by my side, I opened a small container shop at , selling paper sculptures and artwork.
While people loved the art, they loved Albie and his handmade bow ties even more! Encouraged by our shoppers, I began tailoring dog accessories. What started as a small project grew faster than I ever imagined, leading to the birth of Albie’s Boutique and a full-time studio and workshop.

The Evolution:
Our brand has grown so much, and our pieces are worn by dogs all over the country. But I found myself missing the furry faces I used to see every day in the shop. I was also looking for a new channel for my creativity—a way to combine my love for dogs with my eye for form and detail.

The Transition:
Over the past couple of years, I have been putting my sculpting skills to a different kind of use: learning the artistry of dog grooming.
Now fully trained, I am ready to combine my talents to ensure your dogs feel as good as they look. I’ve traded the sculptor’s clay for the stylist’s shears, applying the same “fine art” precision to every coat.

Our New Chapter:
We can’t wait to show you our new salon, spa, and boutique in Leamington Spa. It is a place where timeless tailoring meets traditional grooming.
This is a sanctuary built on calm and safety, where your dog’s comfort comes before everything else. You can rest assured that your best friend is in expert, artistic hands.

Trying to give you a serious renovation update, but the Site Inspectors have some very loud opinions about what needs to be included.

I think the opinion was more treats, less baths 🛀 🐾

10 years ago you could find Rudolph the red nosed poo at Fargo Village helping out at our little artisan store and Albie’s Boutique wasn’t even on our radar yet. This year we are planning something new and very exciting for Albie’s Boutique and those of you in Warwickshire. You never know where life will take you just need to make sure you’re open to the opportunities!

It’s the time of year that we dread every year. Black Friday weekend. As a small family run handmade business this is not something that we can engage with. Slashing prices is only possible for big companies with huge profit margins. Our profit margins are minuscule as with many small independent businesses so for us to try and get on board with this would be impossible. That’s why every sale means so much. We know that times are more difficult for many at the moment and the bargain deals can really help. So every time you choose to shop local, or handmade, or independent you are genuinely making a real difference to each of those businesses. We just wanted to take the chance this weekend to say thank you for choosing us, thank you for your custom, thank you for choosing quality over discounts, it really does mean the world to us.

I really got the Autumnal feels from this lovely set for a new arrival. Lots of our products have those warm comforting colours and in fabrics that feel just as good as they look, with sumptuous velvets and comfy corduroy’s there’s bound to be something in our collection to suit you and your pup. And don’t forget we can create a custom colourway or design just for you! (You only need to ask) 🍁
