After all the rain and grey skies this week, it was lovely to finally have a bit of sunshine back again.

Today’s mood according to the pets of SevenTails:

🐶 “I would like to file a formal complaint about the rain.”

🐱 “Perfect weather for a 14 hour nap.”

After all the sunshine lately, today definitely felt more like a tea, blankets and muddy paws kind of day 😅

Honestly though, these slower cosy visits are some of my favourites.
A little company, a fuss, dinner served… then back to watching the rain from the window 🐾

The weather can’t quite decide what season it wants to be at the moment 😅

One minute we’re all in the garden enjoying the sunshine… the next it’s back to blankets, muddy paws and sleepy pets curled up indoors again.

Honestly though, these quieter grey days are often my favourites for pet visits.
Everything feels a little calmer.

(And yes… sometimes the pets accidentally end up in a mini photoshoot too 🤭📸)

May is turning into one of those months where everyone suddenly seems to have plans at once.

Between the late May bank holiday, half term and people starting to organise summer trips, my diary is already filling up quite a bit for cat visits and small animal care over the next few weeks.

A lot of the pets I look after are much happier staying at home in their normal environment rather than going into boarding, especially cats and smaller animals who tend to like routine and familiar spaces.

If you know you’ll be away later this month or over the summer, it’s probably worth getting organised sooner rather than later as availability is starting to get tighter now 🐾

Love seeing how happy dogs are on walks

I used to think being at home meant pets were automatically “sorted”.

Then real life kicks in… meetings, days out, last minute plans, long weekends away…

And suddenly it’s Friday evening and you realise no one is actually coming in for the cat, or the dog hasn’t had a proper walk all day.

This time of year always does that a bit.
Bank holidays, half term, nice weather… plans happen quickly.

I’ve already started getting bookings in for the next one later this month, so just sharing here in case it helps someone get organised a bit earlier than usual.
