I have been using Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paints for a while now after discovering them quite recently. What a great discovery they are too! If you are looking for that authentic 'chippy' look to furniture and small items it is 'the' paint to use in my opinion. It flakes off in a very random way and gives that aged distressed look that you cannot get by sanding alone. Here is a miniature chair (about 14inch high) that was just dark boring varnish and I gave it a makeover with MMS and it looks fab, dont you think?

We have not had any time for ages to do any folk art work so it was a delight to get a commission to paint three sets of shutters for a house in St Mawes. The client saw the little red chair I did a while ago and loved the design so I scaled it up and here you go. Milk paints for the background, I love the colour you get and the way you can distress them. What do you think?

Nice little antique pine shelf unit. It used to be a cupboard but the door was a bit boring and I thought it would be more useful as shelves. Love the colours turquoise and red, both dulled down with an antique finish.

Available to buy is this lovely mid-century coffee table given a makeover with this lovely bird design. The top now looks like its formica!
