I offer goup dog walking for sociable dogs in Cononley, Crosshills, Kildwick, Farnhill, Lothersdale and surrounding areas. I have a degree in Animal Behaviour.

I've over 20 years experience of working with dogs, 10years as a professional dog walker. Experienced, insured and responsible dog walker covering Craven. I've worked with dogs for over 20 years, nearly 10 years as a preofessional dog walker. I also have a degree in Animal Behaviour and training and offer dog behaviour and training services.

Doggy friends Friday 🐶🐶🐶

Introducing....... EMBER!

As its Perfect-a-pet's 18th Anniversary this week I thought it was only right that this week's Doggy Friend should be my own Ember!!

Ember is a very sweet working type Labrador. She's such a gentle dog who wouldn't say boo to a goose. She's calm at home but outside she likes to enjoy herself!!

Ember is intelligent and generally well behaved but does find it incredibly difficult to ignore really exciting things like rabbits and squirrels from time to time!!

She's also super sensitive and is afraid of shiny floors and Facebook messenger "pings" 🤔🤔🤔. She's very unique 😂 but the best family dog we could ask for 😃

A newly qualified me putting my skills to the test training my newly acquired rescue dog Buster. He was not the easiest dog and he certainly taught me a lot!! But he was a dog in a million and I still miss him everyday ❤️

This week marks 18 years in business for me 😲

The picture below was me aged 21 in the summer I graduated university. The summer I got my new rescue dog, Buster ❤️ and the summer I started up Perfect-a-pet!!

Wonder where the next 18 years will take us? 🐶

Doggy friends Friday 🐶🐶🐶

Introducing....... PEGGY!!

Peggy is a very pretty and sweet natured whippet girl. Peggy originally completed my Perfect-a-puppy course with her owners during the pandemic and has recently started joining me for social dog walks.

Peggy is a clever and sensitive girl, loves a cuddle and a kiss (with tongues if you're not careful 😝).

Peggy's doggy brother, Ned, doesn't mix easily with other dogs so often Peggy doesn't get chance to either as much as she'd like. So her walks with me are purely to let her socialise and enjoy the company of other dogs on a regular basis which is so lovely ❤️

Percy is shouting to tell you that he'd love even more friends to join him on his walks!!

He's in luck as I have availability from September on my social dog walks.

I only take small groups (maximum 4 dogs but usually 2 or 3) and we just go out and have a great time together!!

Ember and I did something a little different on Sunday and took part in a Introduction to Tracking Workshop.

I was so proud of her, she absolutely loved it and it reminded me just how awesome our dogs are ❤️

Finding an activity you can do with your dog that challenges them mentally and physically and uses their amazing abilities is so rewarding and we are definitely going to do more of it!!

Youngster Bobby only has occasional walks with me and I thought I'd gone to the wrong house when I picked him up recently!! Look at him with his grown-up dog haircut ❤️

I take some dogs on an occasional rather than full time or regular basis. Drop me a message if you need me, even if it's just now and again 👍

Doggy Friends Friday 🐶🐶🐶

Introducing..... BERNARD!!

Bernard pretends he doesn't enjoy my walks and looks very miserable when I take him to the van but once out he is probably the happiest of all my dogs!! He has so many friends now and enjoys rough and tumble play with his best buddies.

Bernard isnt a typical Labrador (not really food driven 😲) but is super sweet and a sensitive soul. He adores Ember (even though she definitely plays hard to get 😂 ) and loves a ball. He can also do amazing bunny hops straight up in the air to about head height 😃

A few weeks ago we said our final goodbyes to beautiful Moss the collie 💔

Moss has been part of the Perfect-a-pet "pack" almost since the beginning when he was a young, enthusiastic collie and he joined me for training sessions and lively social group walks on the moors. I also used do sleepovers to care for Moss when his owners were away and had many adventures with him and my Buster (they were best friends ❤️)

Recently I've had the pleasure of taking him on much quieter walks and spent quality time with him at home (he had the most amazing thick silky coat you could disappear into!!) Age had caught up with him but he never lost his spark ✨

Moss was one of a kind and I will always cherish our adventures together ❤️
