Hi 👋
So I just thought I would reintroduce myself to new followers, long term followers, anybody!!

So my name is jamielea, I have ran Hugo’s for over 8 years now, we did however have a little break for around 2 years back in March 2023 I moved down to London but I did continue with grooming just in a different Salon, I missed it so much but then a little something came into the picture so I moved back home and had a baby in March 2024 (a lot happened in a year!!) but we are now settled and back!!!

i have always been so passionate about dogs and being around them. When I was younger you would always find me in a dog bed😂 and I just knew working with such amazing gentle animals was my dream!

l used to work a 9-5 office job and I just was not happy being there, so to get such an amazing opportunity I grabbed it with both hands and ran with it. I have met so many amazing people and dogs over the time and I love each and every one of them.

I named my business Hugo's grooming salon after my own puppy called HUGO. He is a springer spaniel with A LOT of energy, he is 9 years old and is very friendly and loves playing with new dogs every day and making friends. Hugo was quite a shy little boy just like myself and since opening he interacts a lot more with humans and other dogs which is very good for them, which is why l like to let the dogs play together after their grooms for a bit of socialisation. most of my regulars have probably met hugo by him either jumping onto the desk to greet you or jumping up at you fer

Starting this business has made me gain so much confidence and courage I was very shy and just speaking to customers has completely changed me

Working at Hugo's is hard going sometimes especially now juggling with mum life, dog mum life and a business but it so worth it just to see the joy in the dogs faces to have their little pamper and then run round like crazy things.

So that is just a little something about me. I hope you all feel like you know me a bit better and I love being one big family

With having such a long time off it was a worry starting back up again but I am so happy to have seen all you guys back and new guys too.
