Cleenagh Pedigree Livestock Cleenagh Blue Texel was formed in 2012 with the importation of pedigree blue sheep from the Netherlands, the first ones to be registered in N Ireland.

Cleenagh Blue Texel was formed in 2012 with the importation of Pedigree Blue Texel Sheep from the Netherlands. Since this importation in 2012 we have now added the best bloodlines from England, Scotland, Wales, and Belgium. Our aim is to produce quality pedigree bloodlines with Arr scapie monitored background eligable for export. Length, style and correctness with good skin are the main ingredient

s we search for when looking for a new stock tup. We have since added Badgerface Texel and Dutch
Spotted to our list of breeds which we currently Breed. The Cleenagh family flock of Adrian and Clive Richardson was again the first breeder of Badger Face Texel in Ireland and second in the whole of the British Isle. Cleenagh Pedigree Livestock helped form the breed from a non recognised Pedigree status to membership breed Society issuing Pedigree Certificates to its registered members. Genetic building though quality stock rams is something we strongly believe in. Its a slower method of success but one we believe delivers quality bloodlines both for our own breeding purposes, but also our purchasers. Visitors always welcome.
