Welcome to my page! After working as a veterinary nurse for 10 years and working with horses previously to that, I have decided to use my wealth of knowledge and passion for animals to start my own dog walking and boarding service. I offer a home from home service where your canine family member can be looked after in an environment where they will feel happy and relaxed. Boarding dogs are allowed
to go where they will feel happiest within my home and will not be restricted to a kennel or crate unless it is something that is required and something that they are already used to. I have two very friendly dogs of my own, Fern who is a working type Cocker Spaniel and Badger who is a 3 Year old Cocker spaniel. Whilst in my care your dog will be walked twice daily in different locations to avoid boredom and to give them space and variety. This is also a good time to allow them to socialise and bond with other dogs in my care. I have taken part in a scent work course with Badger and have learnt some great interactive games to play on the walk. I find this helps to keep your dog interested and focused whilst out walking. I keep my group size down to a minimum so that I have more quality time with your dog. I offer a free of charge meet and greet session with your dog. This is a good opportunity for your dog to come and meet me and my canine family. Being a dog owner I know it can be stressful leaving them behind, so this is also a good time
for you to see where your dog will be having their holiday too. I will treat your dog as my own and offer a high standard of care, whether it being groomed, clipping nails or applying flea treatment. Pets with medical conditions that require medication could not be in better hands with 10 years of veterinary nursing experience under my belt! I have a genuine interest in canine behaviour and am lucky to have a very close relationship with a dog trainer in the area that I can refer to you to if you need any advice or help with training. Dog walking including collection and drop off £10 per hour (your dog will be walked for the whole hour)
Day Boarding £15 per day
Holiday Boarding will be £15 per day (An additional cost of £5 will be charged if you are unable to collect until the following morning)
Grooming out and nail clipping is a complimentary service I offer. Soon i will be partaking in a grooming course, so I will be able to offer clipping and styling, a price can be quoted for this. Terms and Conditions.
* You will be asked to fill in a form the first time I look after your dog. This is to give me any information that may be required, including contact numbers in case of an emergency and your vet. Also any special requirements and behaviour issues that I need to be aware of.
*The latest time for collection will be 8pm. If the cut off time for collection cannot be met it will then go over to the next morning and a £5 additional charge will be added.
*The earliest drop off time will be 8am unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed. This is a fully insured service.
